Bidrage med feedbackThis place discriminates against people, namely children, with disabilities. The staff, the owner, and the manager were incredibly rude. I tried to bring my daughter's emergency medicine with me (she has an intractable seizure disorder) and there was one man watching bags who kept yelling and barking at me about how there is no way I will bring my bag in, even after it was explained to him by both myself and another staff person that the bag contained emergency medicine and medical supplies. He forced me to show him the medicine and STILL refused to allow me to bring it to the orchard. Meanwhile, there were people I observed all over the orchard with hand bags on their shoulders nearly the same size (or larger at times) as the bag I was trying to take. The way me and my family were treated was ableist, discriminatory, and illegal. Please do not support this business. They need a reasonable accommodations policy for people with disabilities. They have a paranoid suspicion that people are stealing their apples, but that is no excuse for discriminating against 5 year olds with disabilities.
Lovely orchards for apple picking and the treats in the shop were all very tasty.. Pricing is premium versus grocery shops.
Stopped for some cider donuts and they had a very strong artificial flavor to them, it was like eating an apple jolly rancher. If it wasn't for this the donut would have been great, it was soft and fresh. Was also very expensive at over $2 a donut.
We went just for apple picking, so I can’t speak to the quality of the cider and other products. We go apple picking at various orchards in early-to-mid-October every year, but the quality and selection of the apples was disappointing here, especially for the price. It was also strange/inconvenient that they demanded no purses are allowed in the orchard (I’ve never experienced that elsewhere and it detracted from the experience when most of us are not trying to steal a couple of apples in a purse, but just want access to our phone, wallet, water bottle, etc. I wanted to stay local to the valley but will happily make the trip to another orchard in the coming year.
Spent the morning at one of the farms in the area. On the way back we passed Beardsley I pulled a uturn and went in. Got some cider donuts were along with a raspberry white chocolate scone which were both awesome. Not to mention their hot cider is out of this world. Staff was very friendly looking forward to going again.
