Mamas Leonies - Sheffield

Love it here. You get looked after so well by all the lovely staff and it really has a family feel to it. the garlic mushrooms are amazing and really good for gluten free pizza, if not the best gluten free pizza in Sheffield.

Don't waste your money here. The service is terrible and the food is even worse. We were served ravioli from a tin for almost ten pounds and the pizza was made with a pre-bought base. It's clear that this is not authentic Italian cuisine. Overall, a disappointing experience.

The food was terrible and the service was awful. The waitstaff seemed to lack any skills. We dined there on June 1st, and what may have once had potential has clearly been ruined by incompetent chefs. It was the worst Italian food I have ever tasted.

The restaurant is a charming little building located just across from the winter gardens. It is quite small and it is recommended to make a reservation unless you are going during off-peak times. There are tables spread out over two floors, but they are not very spacious and can feel either cozy or cramped. Be aware that you may end up seated by the door, which can be chilly when the weather is cold. The prices are not budget-friendly and you may be able to find better value at other restaurants. The food is not bad, but it is average for the price. The location is convenient for the nearby theaters, such as the Crucible and the Lyceum.
