East China - Shawnee

We ordered from East China for the first time. We will not be ordering from them again. The food was very bland. The egg rolls, spring rolls, and fried dumplings were soggy and had little flavor. My hot and sour soup was neither spicy nor sour, just watery. We had to throw out the chicken skewers because they were harder than beef jerky. Everything else was just ok.

-Hot and Sour Soup: Never, ever, have I had less flavor in a soup. -Ordered an appetizer with chicken skewers, they had obviously been on a warmer so long the were half way to beef jerky. Insanely dry and tough, difficult to chew. -Crab rangoon. Fine. Typical for any similar restaurant -Entree was pretty good.

Picking up Door Dash orders which were ready but staff took a moment to even acknowledge my waiting.

The price was amazing the portion sizes were great and they were very fast at getting the order ready. I will be coming back again soon.

Awesome food and service. Went an hour before closing and they were still putting out fresh food. Great selection along with grill preparing anything you want. Highly recommend.
