Don 't worry, 'Cardinal ' crew pour a variety of delicious, fun coffee drinks to energize and entertain you, but there is much more there. Great food, a cool, historical setting, even a few 'adult drinks ' to sip on, plus live music once in a while. Don 't...be fooled by the name, 'Cardinal ' has many great things on offer!
Stopped to get the kids and treat. I was surprised that at 11am they were sold out of so many donuts. I can see why. They were delicious (so I was told). I had a vegan muffin and it was yummy. The Arnold Palmer (hibiscus...ices tea and lemonade) was incredible!!
We took the K&P trail to the Cardinal cafe on our ATV's and had a great breakfast! The cafe is in a gorgeously renovated church, the staff were excited to make menu suggestions and very friendly. The food was delivered quickly and beautifully presented. And...it was all delicious! They have some really fun home made donuts in flavors like S'mores with toasted marshmallow and the maple donuts are made from local maple syrup. I'm really looking forward to my next visit and also to check out the summer patio!
I consider myself a coffee connoisseur and am a fan of Starbucks. However, Sharbucks, affectionately known as the Cardinal, is just as good if not better when it comes to their coffee. The real standout at this café is their food offerings. The Cardinal serves a variety of delicious breakfast options that are both vegan and Keto-friendly. Their menu is filled with fresh and tasty dishes, including homemade soups and a selection of lunch sandwiches. For those with a sweet tooth, the café offers an amazing selection of gourmet doughnuts, muffins, and cookies, as well as treats for pets. On nice days, you can enjoy your meal on the patio and take in the quaint charm of the small town and beautiful lake. The warm and inviting atmosphere at the café is thanks to the friendly staff, including owners Rob and Nancy who always greet customers with genuine hospitality. Although the café is closed on Sundays, there are plans to open seven days a week in the future. I highly recommend supporting this local café and enjoying their great food and coffee. Maybe in the future, they will even add an ice cream bar with delicious chocolate dip options for those hot summer days.
