El Michoacano - Shafter

We don't live nearby, but we always try to stop when we're in the area because the food is bomb! My favorite authenticity restaurant is literally down. Must try the micheladas, aguas frescas, chile verde burritos, guac with flour chips, enchiladas. I wish I lived closer!

Absolutely delicious! The staff was very courteous and very friendly. The chips and salsa were fresh and warm. My daughter ordered a meal and the server made sure that she knew it was extremely spicy. I ordered the Enchilada salad, which was a large part, was so delicious.

My favorite Mexican restaurant. Always great tasting food! Great place if you like spicy Mexican food.

The food was delicious and the service was friendly. The shredded beef is much tenderer and more juicy than most places. The menu had a lot of seafood options, along with Menudo and some other things you do not see in any Mexican food place.

The salsa , chile verde bean dip and chile verde part of my burrito was very good. The chile Colorado part of the burrito just tasted like hot peppers and couldn't taste anything else
