I’m not sure what cowboys really eat, but this was pretty awesome.

Best chicken fried steak I have ever had, daughter, and the grandkid had fish and they said that was fabulous too. I go back there every time I am in the area.

This place by far has the poorest service of any place I've been in the area. It took almost 40 minutes to receive our food, once they brought us our drinks they only checked back one time for refills. The salt shakers had a huge hole in the top that poured out salt ruining one of my side dishes and when I informed the waitress her response was that they were all like that. A burrito from Allsups will offer you a better dining experience.

Heading back from Jud Texas and stopped in and ate. Food was good and they are liberal with portions. I had the chicken fried steak and it was very good.

Stopped here driving from Lubbock to DFW and it was definitely worth the time. Awesome home cooking with hot, tasty food friendly (although not fast) service. Great chicken fried steak, chicken strips, mashed potatoes green beans. Next time we will try the hand breaded catfish!
