Spice Villa Indian Restaurant - Seymour

Hands down the worst butter chicken my husband and I have ever had! Horrendous. We got take away and most of it ended up in the bin.

We visited here on a stop over. Picked up our dinner to have in our van and it was inedible. The roti bread was coated in oil and brittle. The Dahl was thick with oil and the pumpkin in the dish we ordered was not cooked. The only thing that could be eaten was the rice. Threw away the food and threw away our money. Avoid like the plague. Not a good start to our road trip. We love Indian food but this was just not good.

I recently moved to Seymour from Melbourne and was pleasantly surprised to find Spice Villa. The authentic Indian food is absolutely delicious - every dish I've tried has been divine. The curries are mouth-watering and the garlic naan is properly cooked in the tandoor. The staff even accommodated a special request for me. If you love Indian cuisine, Spice Villa won't disappoint. The service is also wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We decided to have a fast dinner and avoid the busy highway eateries during the school holidays. The meal we had was freshly prepared (so it took some time) but was affordable. The kids enjoyed the butter chicken, which never fails to please. We also liked the potato and spinach dish. The garlic naan was tasty. The service was friendly.

This was our first time dining at Seymore and we weren't sure what to expect in terms of taste and quality. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and excellent service. The veg platter was amazing, the roti/parathas tasted just like homemade and were fresh. The chicken curry was flavorful and fresh. Overall, we left happy with our experience.
