I loved everything about this place so many interesting packaged foods to take home (chocolate bars, olive oil, etc) AND amazing looking baked goods AND casual dishes. I had Turkish eggs which was poached eggs served on yogurt with herbs, garlic and chili oil. I had never heard or thought of eggs with yogurt but it was awesome. Came with sourdough toast and was beautifully presented. It was crowded on a Saturday morning (not surprisingly) and I had a little bit of a wait to get a table. Deserves to be popular!
This café is a hidden gem in a cute small town. The black white faux patterned tile floor catches your eye upon entrance as does the pressed tin squares that adorn the ceiling. The café is a great place for breads, pastries, hardy sandwiches, heathy salads and delicious soups. There is a large menu board on the wall as well as a specials-menu with daily items. The shelves cover the walls with various teas, coffees, boxes of pastries, olive oils, and salad dressings. The coolers display various cheeses, yogurts, stuffed grape leaves (Dolmades), ciders and seltzers. The Turkey Sandwich on multi-grain breads and the Ham and Cheese Quiche were excellent and very filling. The waitstaff is very friendly and accommodating. The nice cozy dining area invites to dine and to take your time! Tip: For those who like their greens, try the Farm Salad .
They typically have three different pizzas by the slice which I highly recommend. They also make an incredible cross between a croissant and a muffin cruffin ? which is usually stuffed we had pumpkin .
While staying Moon Twp, which is nearby, I came here for breakfast one morning and got there soon after they opened, yet there was a small line inside, but it didn’t create too long of a wait. They have a very nicely done menu, loaded with Mediterranean-style food for breakfast and lunch. They also have lots of amazing and fresh baked goods, breads, and pastries. Their Shakshuka was outstanding! I asked for extra bread and was charged for it, but don’t think I got it, as I only got 3 pieces of toasted baguette, which isn’t enough, but the dish tasted great on its own, without the bread to dip into it. Their espresso is very nice and tasty too. They have a wine bar on the other side of the dining room, opposite their bakery area. And they sell lots of items for charcuterie. I’d definitely return!
