Amalfi Pizza - Sewell

I stopped on a Wednesday at 4:30 and was greeted and set by a very friendly and helpful young pregnant lady. Before the menu was even taken over, they already had a herbal oil, roasted peppers and onions and a bread basket with 3 kinds of bread and pizza. All right. I was impressed. I ordered the Aubergine Parmesan with Penne Pasta. It comes with soup or salad. I had to try the chicken tortellini and was not disappointed. Loading with chickens and cubed carrots in each spoon. My glass of ice water and soda never reached half empty before they were removed. The Auberginenparm was a sight. Layer by layer of thin-cut eggplants mixed with sprinkled Parmesan cheese between layers and a generous amount of molten golden mozzarella on top. The penne was perfectly cooked and sown perfectly. I enjoyed every bite of my meal. The only negative I could say would be that I couldn't try the deserts. I was full of the meal. Overall, it was one of the best dinning experiences I ever had.

Every meal I had in Amalfi was excellent. Don't be fooled to think of just another Twp pizza place, really a hidden gem with their excellent dishes and a certain must! Bruno and his son make the experience that much better, how personal they are and hands up to every detail. We look forward to our next meal there and are welcomed as if we were family.

We go there about every week as they have opened, as we live only about 2 minutes from there. You have the best food and wait staff. Always friendly and helpful. And the size of the portions is great. Always bring something home for a snack later. I recommend Amalfi!

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner and would definitely recommend Amalfi if you like to eat! So many choices to choose, but everything we passed through looked excellent. I had spaghetti with lumps of crab meat and asparagus in a lobster cream sauce. Joe had the calf salt imbocca with Penne Pasta. From the beginning to the end, the food was fabulous. We also enjoyed talking to Bruno and that you can bring your own wine. Can't wait to go back with our friends....

Bought pizza tonight at Amalfi in Washington Twp on Egg Harbor rd, Best pizza by far around. It would give shore pizza a run for its money. Try it out. The crust and sauce is good. The round and Sicilian is in point !!
