Great place for lunch or dinner on the hillside which is about 5 degrees cooler than the city center. You should go here for the overall great food, service and location. Everything on their menu is great from the seafood, steaks, pizza, dolce to prosecco. All very good and of mid tier pricing. The service was fast and very accommodating. One thing you may want to know is that although there is great parking, accessibility for handicap maybe a challenge walking through the gravel and also the restaurant is quite small. I would definitely come here again to escape the city crowds and heat during the summer in the Florence Pros: Food is excellent for price range Service is perfect Location if you are looking to be on the hillside is nice There is parking Pretty sure they spray for mosquitos Cons Seats could be a bit more comfortable Accessibility for handicap could be improved

One of the first restaurants I tried when I got to florence, and man was it delicious. It was kind of scary driving up the hill at night with those crazy hairpin turns, but definitely worth it. I had a light steak and salad which was very juicy and tender and perfectly seasoned. One of my coworkers though got a seafood soup , but I think the translation was a bit off because he got more like a giant cauldron of delicious seafood in broth. Delicious! A must try!!

Conosco il Ristorante Ulivo Rosso e posso dire che quando si parla di esso esprime tutto, non è come quando si aspetta il piatto con fette di gamberetti e invece sono le gusci dei cioccolatini! Il cibo è eccellente: 1, il servizio: 1, l'atmosfera: 1.

Dinner was one if the absolute best dinner we have ever had. The steak was so tender and flavorful, the best we have ever had. The ambience is lovely, the staff are fantastic. Wonderful dinning experience- highly recommend. This was our favorite meal in Italy.
