Bidrage med feedbackThe prices are fair and the food is good, but the restaurant has not been well-maintained and the service is poor. The bar area is also too dark.
We all enjoy eating fish, and we cook it frequently at home. However, when Chef Kapil Muchandi serves up a unique twist on this familiar dish at Ranchikud, it gives us food for thought. Along with partner Shantesh Naik, they have created a Goan dining experience in the streets of the city.
I went to Ranchikud after hearing about their fish thali. The moment I entered I felt quite disoriented as the place was dimly lit. The basic fish thali was run of the mill stuff you find in most outlets. Did not try anything else,so cannot comment on the rest of the menu.
Been here a couple of months ago but couldn't write a review than. So here we are reviewing for its lovely food and friendly owner. Ambiance is of a sports bar though we had come here for a quite dinner. Soup was OK not great . Starters were good their veg power potato preparation (spicy). Fish was served in a very unique plate and it tasted yum.. had lots of booze. main course we ordered chicken xacuti which was served in a very traditional way. in short the food was amazing.Price wise just head here blindly good food for very cheap rates.Ambiance - 8/10Service - 6/10Food - 8.5/10Price - 9/10 :P
Ranchikud is a decent restaurant very near to the bustling navtara street.Dimly lit interiors to go with the sportsbar theme.Perfect for your dose of awesome goan food. The fish is fresh and the preparations tasty to the core. The dishes are very reasonably priced and is great value for money. If your in porvorim and looking for some good goan cuisine.Head to Ranchikud you wont be let down!!!
