Bidrage med feedbackTi immergi completamente nella tradizione calabrese. Tutto buonissimo e il servizio ti fa sentire praticamente a casa. Inoltre ho un figlio celiaco e qui ha trovato tutto. Per noi è stato un vero e proprio sogno. Qualità, quantità a un prezzo incredibile!!!! Consigliatissimo!!!!
Se si vuole assaporare la cucina calabrese nella sua semplicità ma con i sapori esatti delle origini lo scacco matto è una esperienza da fare . Sapori perfetti da ingredienti semplici ma genuini e di alta qualità . Tutti i piatti hanno un pizzico di particolarità che li rende molto interessanti . Il contesto del borgo storico di Sersale contar a perfettamente l’esperienza gastronomica .
The local food is simple and perfectly delicious. Their specialty are the funghi ... delicious Be sure to have the antipasti an assortment of local treats. Small establishment so i would book ahead in high season. They are also aware of gluten restrictions and accommodated our needs. Family run!
We have been fortunate to visit the great Calabrian restaurant in the village of Sersale some years ago. We went there again on this visit with relatives we're not disappointed with the local food, no menus, just what Mario his wife decide to cook on the day! Great selection of typical Calabrian dishes to share at very reasonable prices. The four of us shared 10 different dishes, several starter dishes which were great to tast between us. You are made to feel very welcome by the owners it is advised you book ahead as it only caters for smal numbers. It is a drive up into the mountain area so you need a car directions if you are not familiar with this region. We were lucky to have relatives to take us. If you want to experience degustation of Calabrian dishes, go! Recommended
My wife and I have been to the restaurant on a number of occasions and it never disappoints. The starter is made up of numerous plates of typical Calabrese cuisine always including seasonal dishes and is consistently excellent. The pasta dishes are always of high quality with sauces of wild boar or funghi. The meat tends to be pork but the alternative of roast mushrooms is delicious. All eaten with a glass or two of the house wine and topped off with a sorbet and coffee the whole experience is a gastronomic delight.
