Bidrage med feedbackI usually leave or good comments or really bad... We been visiting Grotte di Fracassi and met a person who was advertising this restaurant. So we went to have lunch there with friends and it was a mistake, bad quality of food, it's was or tasteless or too salty. Meat was overcooked ,but the same time raw inside. In my opinion or they neef to change chef or they don't need to advertise this place at all.
Its just done really well, the owner is very welcoming, speaks good English and has an English translated menu also to help make things a little easier. We had crostini, followed by wild boar stew, with roasted potatoes and vegetables, and then I had a panacotta with sapo and my partner had tiramisu all excellent. On our next visit we again had the crostini, pork in a pecorino sauce and again the panacotta, just because it's sooo good! 3 courses with coffee and the local wine (verdiccio) will cost approx 30 euros per head. The surroundings are a little strange (cork lined walls) but there are outdoor tables on a fine evening and the town itself is stunning. Well worth a visit.
This is not the place where you go to eat a pizza. The menu appeals to your willingness to try something unknown. You will not be disappointed. It 's worth it. Sometimes the chef will come to tell you he has a special day offer. Don 't hesitate. Go for it. Yes this is not the modern fashionned restaurant. Still it has a characteristic Italian charm about it and that too makes it a place not to walk past. And if you see Lacrima del Moro d 'Alba on the winecard, ... just order. It 's an excellent red wine produced solely in a small area around the village of Moro d 'Alba in the vicinity of Jesi. I 'll bet you 'll be looking for it when you return home.
