Le Grand Saule - Séranon

Extremly unpleasant reception by the manager/chef! We had reserved for a saturday eve for 4 to celebrate our daughters aniversary. And were the ONLY guests…. Almost insulting us as ‘stupid foreigners’ tough we live in the area for many years. Never ever again! Just a perfect tourist trap.

This is a local restaurant to us and we've tried to get in many times at the weekend to no avail. Book or be disappointed. The team are very welcoming, and the atmosphere in the resturant is a great vibe. Food is delicious and plentyful. Our orders were taken and processed in good time. We were not in a hurry and requested a 30 min break before ordering deserts which was honoured by the team. Already looking forward to the next visit and would highly recommend to friends.

A great French restaurant on the Route Napoleon which itself is an absolute joy to drive. Friendly staff there, great food selection from a genuine authentic French restaurant. We will be back!

Madame is not so great with the guests, especialy if you not a well known! Big portions yes but no quality nothing special on the menu.. All the béaten path stuff!!! There is some better ones in the neighborhood......
