Do not drive by! Welcome stop on our journey from Bloemfontein to Pietermaritzburg. Everything a Padstal should be. Exceptional omelet. Fantastic coffee. Food beautifully presented. Accommodating host. Friendly staff. Art and crafts to feast your eyes on. Plenty of delicacies for sale to take home and enjoy later. Animals to bring that farm feeling.

Very cool menu! Interesting and wide variety. We had delicious Omelette. Unique shopping in one! Art, arty cookies, special earrings and tins from yesteryear. On the main street. Easy to enjoy

Relaxing stop with friendly staff and clean facilities. Food was amazing and worth the wait (restaurant was pretty busy, but we weren't in a rush). Will not pass this gem again in the future.

We enjoy stopping at the various Padstals whilst travelling. Waterval Padstal is one of those special stops, with quirky Karoo style decor, even a wishing well and the cutest 'weeping ' mulberry tree. Friendly service and Senekal town is one of the cleanest we have seen on our trip.

Good country fresh country meal. Don’t go if you are in a mad rush. Very sweet kitchen and waiters. Enjoyed my burger and salad. Worthwhile stop.
