Bidrage med feedbackCoffee is in the food truck It is right on the highway and a super nice place to break a fast coffee (and fresh air: There are chairs under a tree, for shade, as well as a grass area. I ordered the Mandel Joy, which was delicious but too sweet. (I'd order it with half of the pumps of syrup, next time. The Barista was friendly and knew her coffee well: It's definitely worth a visit. Sweet, unique, family-run coffee spot.
Food was amazingly good, fresh and tasteful. The service was even better. Grandma asked if it was our first time and took the time to explain her menu and answered all our questions. Ordered the steak wrap, Sarah Special, sausage/potato soup, and 2 smoothies. I can't say what my favorite was just as good. The servers that brought the food were very polite. During our meal, Granny took the time to see how we enjoy our meal and explains the coffee and desserts after our meal. There is a beautiful outdoor seating area with a small playground for children. Inside there are various large tables and a beautiful sitting area with couches. Overall, food and service was excellent. The whole staff really took care of my experience and made sure I return what I will definitely be. Very recommended!
This place has everything you need for a quick stop or even a work lunch. I was impressed by the variety of drinks and coffee flavors. The staff is very friendly. Not to count the place is very clean for an afternoon with book club or just friends. My Texas coffee was delicious.
This is such a nice place! I met a friend here. The server that took our order was very friendly and gave us great recommendations. I had a caramel Macchiato and a white chocolate raspberry that were both phenomenal! It was not super crowded and the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed. They were good to check if we needed something else, and our server also told us a little of the house story. It was very interesting to learn how they had transformed the building, as well as all the original features they held intact. We talked to one of the managers on the way out and he encouraged us to come back. This is such a cool little jewel and I can't expect to go back. If you are looking for a nice, friendly cafe for a quick meeting, brunch or something in between, check them out definitely!
They have decent food, but it is kind of a hipster style place. Kind of like a Starbuck’s, where everyone is hanging out sipping their coffee and working on their laptops. The inside is separated into two different rooms. The outer room had a loud, crying baby, and some dude talking loud on his bluetooth, so I elected for the other room that had doors on it (I don’t think the crying baby and dude on bluetooth are there full time, so don’t let this influence your decision to visit). The room I chose was strangely quiet and full of college students sipping their coffee and doing homework on their laptops/tablets (Yes, kind of strange to see this many college students out in Selma, but it’s a true story). This room was so quiet and small, I almost felt like I was in a library and had to whisper when I talked. You walk up to the counter and order, and then they bring your food and drinks out to you when it’s ready. They have beer and wine but they don’t give it to you when you order. You have to wait for your beer or wine until they they bring your food out. The food came out in a decent amount of time. The chicken panini came out hot and fresh. The Summer Season Salad was VERY large and filling. Lot’s of nutritional greens on it, not just the lackluster iceberg lettuce you get in some salads. One note not all of the salads listed on their online menu are available. It’s good food and good service, but I’m just not into this whole hipster scene/vibe. If you can deal with the hipster/cafe scene, then check them out.
