We came from Binz with the wonderful steam train. And sat in this station restaurant to relax with a beer. Very good service. And good beer.

In addition to the Sellin Ost train station is a small terrace with restaurant to provide a quick fixation for hungry thirst tourists. Nothing from the usual, only the usual stacks of drinks and menu options: carvings, French pommes and the like. Service level was...okish, payment with bank cards is still not possible, not here, "only cash" (only, and this in 2020). Price level in agreement with other bars restaurants in the region.

Cosy restaurant at the small railway station in Sellin. The Snitzel is good and big, the service is not the best, but they were very friendly for dogs that we appreciated very much. But you can't buy a bottle of wine even though you... see the bottles at the bar! Only carafe with glass When the time has come to pay, they only accept German credit cards!! So strange in a tourist destination! So bring cash if you are a foreigner!!

Sellin Ost Kleinbahnhof presents excellent seafood simply cooked with traditional German side dishes. The sweet taste of fresh sole, cooked to perfection, on the bone which just melted in the mouth underlines how fresh seafood can be at its best simply prepared. The local smoked...salmon was also very fresh and tasted superb. The outside terrace provides a panoramic view of the Rasender Roland narrow gauge steam railway with two steam hauled trains passing in full view of the restaurant each hour. A true railway enthusiasts paradise. The interior is based on railway themes with three stubes each representing different classes of rail travel from the romantic era of railways.

If you are looking for a place with real genuine good german food this is the place. I never had such a good fried potatoes anywhere else and I 've travelled Germany up and down for a good part of the last 25 years. This is... gutbürgerlische Küche at is best. Be aware though that they close quite early.
