Beautiful small town restaurant offers delicious large town refinement. The ambience is pleasant and family like the restaurant feels like a large house with a land decor. We had a delicious lunch with walnut appetizers that were tender in a delicious sauce. Lunch had a fried crispy chicken salad, delicious hamburgers and beef tenderloin. The chicken pieces were cooked and very crispy. Dessert had fermented blue berries with a delicious custard. The coconut and pineapple cake was well made, even a bit crisp. A delicious meal. Our guests were enchanted with the chicken salad, which was quite tasty, like the grilled sweet corn that fits the dish very well. Our waiter was a pilot, a patient and a professional. Pro tip our food took a while to prepare.

We had a party of six and reservations before the time. Some had ordered the cook menu Walfangr, beef tenderloin and chocolate mousse as well as the pairing of wines. We also had the horse meat starters, salmon, the other fish and lamb ducks. The whale was surprisingly good. Everything was very delicious. The staff was excellent.

Great vegan options. Beautiful ambience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Omnivore had the salmon court and was enthusiastic about it. I had the vegetable growers and they suggested. Also the vegan dessert coconut cake with grilled pineapple and sorbet. It was amazing!

Had a very memorable burger and Icelandic beer here before it made a cave tour in 2019. Hopefully it hasn't changed much since the pandemic. The waiter was very professional.

Delightful experience. Ate in a quaint private room with riverside view. The food, cocktail (Love Guru), and service was fantastic. I tried whale for the first time and it was deliciously prepared. Highly recommend
