Chez Aldo - Sélestat

Landed in Paris. Took train to Gare De l’est. 18 hours in flight and transit. Hungry. Check in and walk past this Bistro. 11+am 3 tables. Decide to walk in and chose a curb side sun drench table. Service staff spoke English. Prompt and efficient service menu, water and short brief. Ordered 3 entree and 1 main. Excellent prompt hot food serve. Delicious and looks good instagrams able. Great wine great food and lovely coffee. Super like the waitress.

We visited here after reading excellent reviews and were pleased with the general ambience when we arrived . However , after being seated we waited over 15-20 mins for a menu let alone being asked for a drink water would have been nice) ! Eventually I left the table and got a menu myself ! We ordered our drinks , water and wine, no wine glasses were produced . The solo waitress was so preoccupied , plus dealing with a few take outs, we couldn't get her attention without leaving the table again , which eventually we did to get a glass off the bar. Once our pizzas arrived 30-40 mins after our drinks) I have to say mine was quite good and the side salad too, but my husbands was doughy and undercooked. We just wanted to leave as soon as we had eaten. Perhaps it was a bad night as there seemed to be one chef and one waitress ! They need more staff .its a shame as I think the food could be ok and it wasn't expensive .

Glad I tried this place , had a good ambiance as soon as I walked in. The staff were friendly and attentive Great selection on the menu to choose from and cooked very well Very nice place to wine, dine and spend the evening

It's over! Finish! e chiuso! a withdrawal of trip advisor! pity pizzas were excellent
