Jammie Olive Kitchen - Selby

We received a warm welcome upon our arrival. The restaurant offers a variety of vegan options, including a vegan breakfast, sausage rolls, hummus, cheese, cake, soy cream for dessert, ice cream, and soy milk for hot drinks. This information updates the previous review from May 22, 2021.

Jammie Olive Kitchen is a new restaurant and deli in Selby. Currently, they offer alternative milk options and typically have at least one type of vegan cake on the menu. During my visit, I enjoyed the delicious Victoria sponge (as pictured). The guy behind the counter took a keen interest when he found out that we were vegan and came out while we were having our tea and cake to share some new vegan cake options they plan to introduce. The Balti and mushroom flavors he offered us were both excellent. His willingness to seek our opinions and go out of his way to provide options gives me hope that this little spot will become a cornerstone of the Selby vegan scene in the coming years. We loved sitting in the sun, sipping on a large pot of tea, and indulging in delicious cake.
