The Barrel House - Sefton

Stopped here for a coffee and sat outside with our dog, the seating area was a bit grotty looking to be honest but the coffee was really nice. Would go back for a coffee. The village is really bad for parking and if you get a spot, you are looking at an hour or two.

If you're looking for a great spot to grab a drink in Birkdale, look no further. With over 140 beers to choose from at reasonable prices, why go anywhere else? The owners and staff are fantastic, and you're guaranteed a good time every visit.

We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and eager to assist and offer recommendations. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. The music was also fantastic.

Those people giving one star and criticising the staff must have gone to somewhere else. I could genuinely spend all afternoon here sipping the various beers and grazing on the food whilst listening to some great background music. Barman attentive, friendly and informative. We made a special effort to visit and are so glad.

This small bar is both intriguing and charming, offering a wonderful selection of drinks and homemade cake. Guests are always greeted warmly and dogs are welcome.
