Curry House - Sefton

I would give this takeaway restaurant a 2 out of 5 rating. This was my first and final time ordering from them. I placed my order at 7:30pm and was told it would arrive by 8:40pm. However, it did not show up until 9:40pm, two hours after I placed my order.

I was very disappointed with my meal on Mother's Day. The rice seemed stale, not hot and fluffy, but rather dry and cold as if it was leftover from yesterday. The butter chicken had a nice sauce, but the chicken was not in chunks, just slices, which was unusual for Indian cuisine. I was not satisfied with the quality of the food and sadly, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I ordered the chicken curry and was disappointed to find that they had used pre-cooked chicken strips from Tesco. I would not recommend this place as they seem to cut corners with low-quality ingredients.

First time we tried this takeaway. Absolutely delicious. Food arrived in good time and piping hot. And a pleasant surprise to get complementary poppadoms and chutneys. We tried the chicken shadwaler and Goan ki chicken. The meat was lovely, and very generous portions. And both dishes were just awesome tasty. Loads left over for tomorrow. Definitely going back.

Food was tasty and delivered early and hot. Good mix of dishes. We have had the set meals and individual and Enjoyed over time too.
