We will actually, it is usually full size pickups with 4 doors and a medium older female driving it, slow. To be fair... Starbucks I visited in B.C. are busy with a capital B! This is no exception, especially after testing some of the other local “Coffee shops” in Salmon Arm. Only shows what basic performance standards, a dose of management practices and a strategic vision,... I ordered espresso ristretto and got that. Duh! Sure. Starbucks dosen have no real espresso roasts and therefore always produces inferior espresso, but just like McDonald’s in the fast food industry I can always expect coffee knowledgeable service, and consistent products, with moderate espresso among them all (compared to Italian sweet espresso like Peet’s, Lavazza, Vergnano...
The terrace of this restaurant is a peaceful spot for dining, despite the noise from the busy highway. However, the staff can be loud, there is a lack of lids on dishes, the ice is too loud when being scooped, and there are various other disruptive sounds such as the machines. The hard surfaces in the area also contribute to the noise level. This environment can be distracting and not conducive to fully immersing in the dining experience. It may be beneficial for the restaurant to consider installing sound barriers to help absorb some of the noise.
I want to thank the host for suggesting the new S'mores Frappuccino today. It was absolutely delicious! The staff this morning was very pleasant.
I prefer McDonald's coffee to Starbucks every day. The prices at Starbucks are too high. At McDonald's, Tim Hortons, and even Burger King, they will mix your coffee for you (like a double/double) but not at Starbucks. If you want to mix your own coffee at Starbucks, you still have to pay a high price for it.
I'll take MacDonald's coffee over Starbucks any day. The prices are ridiculous. At MacD's, Timmy's and even BK they will mix your coffee for you (you know, double/double) - but not at Starbucks - if you want a regular coffee - go mix it yourself - but still pay top dollar for it.
