Taste of the Caribbean - Seattle

For the price, they give you a lot of food like REAL CARIBBEANS DO! This is the chicken curry. It is spicy so if you don’t like spicy, i wouldn’t order. I ordered it through Uber Eats. I must say the flavor was on point very authentic curry taste. The meat you can tell was marinating in the curry sauce and slowed cooked for flavor! I love rice and peas with the curry gravy. This is the best Caribbean food I’ve had in Seattle… the other Caribbean restaurants need to take notes!!

Delicious food and we loved the complimentary oxtail thank you! Great service and the cheff and wait staff were very attentive also the curry goat was on point!!!

The people here are fantastic! I had family visiting from Alaska so I brought them here to try the food and the staff was SO friendly even tho we didn’t arrive till just before closing. They were accommodating, super kind(even after we stayed past closing) and so eager to make our visit as welcoming as possible. Omar; the waiter went out of his way to make sure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed. I felt like he was genuinely enjoying his time interacting with us and that’s wonderful. The food is also very authentic! Lots of Caribbean flavors coming through and the playlist is top tier. If you’re ever in the area, definitely stop by- even if it’s just for drinks and vibes. I promise it’s worth it!

Great authentic flavors from oxtail with rice and peas, delicious cod fritters and jerk shrimp with just enough spicy and savory to make your mouth water. I'll be back for sure!

My first time here from New York. At first the wait was long because someone called out which is total understandable especially now during the age of Covid. But, the wait was definitely worth it! I absolutely enjoyed everything will definitely stop by again in the future.
