Although the overall taste is pretty goodBut the CP value is really low!I ordered a Pearl Box SET with my friends that day.The asking price is 65 mg~?But the content as shown is all kinds of Japanese food in Jiugongge?Dear viewers! This is probably half the price in Taiwan~~I also ordered skewers and drank some sake.Overall the skewers are okayQuite authentic tasteBut the price is still a bit high~But this Japanese restaurant feels like it’s run by ChineseMaybe because it's lateThe clerks also formed their own table and were having fun there. The service attitude is actually not very goodIn addition, the overall space environment is pretty goodA bit like a dim Japanese food shopThis is probably the basic Japanese food in the United States~~Stop being so demanding! !Food: ?????Drinks: ?????Atmosphere: ?????Service: ?????Price: ?????Location: ?????Summary: ?????
Edit to add: They are currently closedMy experience was not good. Unfortunately to the point I won't give it a second chance. Middling service, the food seemed weirdly off (like bad? , and just kind of felt like I shouldn't have been in there.
The food is pretty good and I have been here multiple times. The rating of this place seems to be much lower than what I would
This is my second time visiting Tanuki. The first time I was here, it was a 5/5, but the second time, it dropped to a 4/5 because of the service and food quality. The restaurant is relatively small, so I recommend reserving a table instead of waiting 30-45 minutes. It can get busy during dinner, and I can bear a slow service. However, service could be better as we needed utensils and had to remind them to refill our water. I love the presentation of the food, but the taste and quality did not match up to the first time I was here. The pork katsu was a bit dry and bland compared to the first time when it was crispy and juicy. The unagi don set was flavorful, and I would get seconds.
Nobody in the restaurant on a Saturday evening and no mobile orders coming in or out. Server seemed annoyed we were there.Ordered Tonkatsu Set and the food came out suspiciously quick. There were very clear signs the food was not made to order or fresh.Heat lamp temperature pork, a single cold fried oyster, salad with rotten lettuce, and other mediocrity all for $30.Plenty of good Japanese food in Seattle, skip this place.
