Bidrage med feedbackGreat tasting authentic Indian food in the Greater Seattle area. At first glance it seems expensive dining however entrees inclusive of side makes it reasonable after all. Wish they could keep the place a little warmer.
If you are looking for authentic local Indian cuisine- Nirmals is the place to be!! Indian food is much much more than dosas, idlis and curries. Nirmal’s change their menu and focus on local food from one state every couple months. They, of course, also have tasty dosas and curries but one should try the authentic dishes they would have that time. I have been to Nirmal’s many times and have never been disappointed.
I can safely call Nirmal's a bit overrated. I went with a large group and we had mix feelings. Filter Coffee was too strong while tea was good but they served when it got bit cold. Angare chicken was okay while macchi kolivada was divine. Chicken rasa was interesting and the chicken patiala was superb. Garlic naan was good. We also tried misil pav and it very bad. Definitely not the way you make one. Bottom line Nirmal's doesn't do justice to all cuisine for the price it charges.
The ambience, food is very good. The kofta curry is really rich and creamy. Would recommend getting the chikoo ice cream and skipping chocolate cake. The biriyani is also very flavorful. The service seemed very distracted. Overall a great place which could’ve been an experience with better service.
Absolutely marvelous. The one of the owners is from Mumbai. They are opening a location in Bellevue with street food- can't wait!
