Mr. West Cafe - Seattle

I recently visited for the first time, and the ambiance here is fantastic—cozy and aesthetically pleasing. Although I wasn't hungry and didn't order anything, my friends enjoyed their choices. Overall, a great experience. I plan to return and will update my review accordingly.

It’s a quaint cafe with really eclectic drink and food options. But I really didn’t like my tuna melt sandwich. It had a strong kick to it that was overpowering and unexpected. The container of chips was only a quarter full. $17 is a lot to ask for for a small tuna sandwich. But I thought they handled being busy well in that it didn’t take too much time to get my food.

We were disappointed today. We walked in 20 minutes before closing and were denied service for coffee. They do last call at 2:30. Would be nice if a business closed when listed.

I wanted to love this place, as the decor is perfect. It’s a little confusing. The water on the back of the bar wasn’t bad. The line (it was there the whole time I was ordering eating)that goes out the door and blocks the exit if you choose to sit outside was a pain to navigate backwards through. My food came out before my coffee, it was good not great. So much so that I finished the food before I got my coffee. Coffee was tasty and artistic. TLDR: amazing decor good food coffee cramped entry coffee took a long time.
