Mendoza's M. Mercado - Seattle

I found myself there to pick up a missed UPS package and it turned out to be a happy circumstance. The food at the back counter smelled so good I picked up a couple tamales while there and they turned out to be some of the best I’ve had in a long while. I’m pretty sure I will be coming back for more tamales and to try more from their food counter pretty soon!

I got poblano chili relleno with beans rice and house made corn tortillas. I’ve been a little bit cautious because I got food poisoning a long time ago at another restaurant but it looked really good at this placeso I wanted to give it another try and it was amazing. Even the cheese inside was really delicious. Also, some of the best beans and rice I’ve ever had and I’m always on the lookout for a good beans and rice. Also to corn tortillas very tasty. I must’ve driven by this place thousands of times I’m just too crazy in traffic to pay attention but it’s definitely worth going back to.

Had an unfortunate experience here with inedible food. Really wanted to like this cute shop but the food was unacceptable.

I love the food here. Better than fast food, it's real, wholesome, and delicious. Everything I've tried is awesome.But the real reason is the people. Super nice and friendly, greeting every single person that comes in. Real hospitality.

Good quality products! Also their carnitas and beef head tacos are super delicious!
