Jambalaya, Cancer Pis, Wels all excellent. Gumbo had a strange favorite. This review of a real Creole!

Marcela takes you from the Pacific Northwest to New Orleans. The fish and seafood are delivered from the Gulf Coast and its beer selection. Go here for special occasions, they usually make a free glass of champagne and becomes toast with you. Must be ordered: grill shrimp, crust fish and potatoes ya-ya. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner! Just call for big parties.

Booked this restaurant mainly because it had availability a few hours before the Seahawks Playoff game and we wanted to be on the place well before playtime....what a great find! Beautiful service, good food and a great atmosphere overall. Pretty quiet while we were there (no TVs so no football group this day). The red beans and rice could have had more kick (I think they have squeezed it down for us PNWers, but the Andouille sausage was delicious as the sampler (and many spices there, per my husband!

This was our first time in this restaurant. We had an early dinner, so it was very quiet. I'm sure it has potential for rough and rebellious. Food was fantastic, service was great, and prices appropriate. We will definitely return!

I had the special gumbo, probably the best I've ever had, although I must say I'm not the gumbo affectionate that some are. Very tasty. Hubby had the catfish and it was also very tasty. Small place, they were running a cooking class in part of the restaurant, not a distraction as you get to see the owner in action. I had a glass of red wine, and they had a nice selection of wine by the glass. We will be back.
