Bidrage med feedbackPrime example of making really simple things look and sound overly fancy and therefore jacking up the cost 2-3 times what it should be. A scoop of vanilla ice cream and Choco-lava cake with less cake and more liquid chocolate, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream on chocolate chip cookies shouldn't be 14 bucks. We ordered the Dark Decadence and the warm cookies and ice cream. Cookies were more crunchy that soft/gooey which is a personal preference. They also had too few choco chips. On the hot cake side, I felt the cake layer was quite thin and was 80% molten core. Again that's just a personal preference. Overall I didn't find Hot Cake to be worth the money and would not recommend it.
Best dessert restaurant I have been too. They have a big attention to detail with all of the items on their menu. They are also very allergy friendly and open to substitutions with no issue. I love the warm cookies, ice cream, with caramel and graham cracker sprinkles. It was amazing. My family and I were in Seattle for about 5 days and we visited Hot Cakes every day we were there. Wish they would open one in Florida!!!
I'd love to share my thoughts on this amazing lava cake shop that I visited recently! The atmosphere of the shop was cozy and inviting, with a warm and friendly staff. They had a great selection of desserts, but the real standout was the lava cake. It was absolutely delicious! The cake was perfectly moist and rich, with a gooey chocolate center that oozed out when we cut into it.The chocolate was high-quality and had a deep, rich flavor that wasn't too sweet. The cake was also served warm, which made it even more decadent. We also tried the ice cream, which was a perfect complement to the cake. They had a great variety of flavors, but we went with the classic vanilla. It was creamy and smooth, and had a great flavor that wasn't too overpowering. The staff were also really helpful and attentive, and they made sure that we had everything we needed. They were patient and friendly, and they gave us great recommendations for what to try.The only downside was that it was a bit pricey, but I think it was worth it for the quality of the desserts and the great service. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this lava cake shop to anyone looking for a sweet treat.
Crème Brulee was amazing! And the gooey brownie cake was perfection! 10/10! Get em all!Such a cute little date spot or just for dessert!! They have soooo many options for gluten free or dairy free!! The menu is detailed enough to make a good choice!! They have pastries in the case and hot cake products for sale. Plenty of seating inside and outside seating!!! The tables are bus your own table (clean up after yourself)! They sell coffee too.
We were here just by looking at the reviews but were amazed by how much love this place gets. Only problem would be the cost of it. Only if it was a bit lesser, it would have been a wonderful experience. Paying 18 bucks for a very small portion size made us re think our choices. It was unconditional. There are wide variety of options in this location and try to go here in a group such that you can try lot of options. The food really takes good amount of time to come to your table because of the crowd and is always busy.A good find and a good try. People here are nice and welcome you well. Parking is a hustle though and this place is so much crowded on the weekends.recommendation : smores and the coffee one.
