Din Tai Fung - Seattle

You can actually make reservations at this @dintaifungusa location, which is not even possible in Taiwan. So that? The quality of the food is the same with the San Jose site, but the service is somewhat down (e.g. not wipe the table and gives us new plates /utensils while continuing to desserts, this is standard DTF process at least in Taiwan). This could be the first time I ordered chicken soup instead of hot soup. Also really delicious! Do I remember home?

Good food, good service? welp, there is a reason why there is always a line out there. The only thing they might think about is if there is a better solution to distribute sanitizers to people at the table. A little strange to dispense with a napkin to use it for us, but nothing to despise it from 5 stars.

Waiting was about 20 minutes for a table on a Monday night at 6:00. Once seated, the order was placed (as we looked at menu points during waiting). The timing of appetizers and knödeln/rice/nudeln was perfectly different. Very attentive and friendly staff. All we ordered was super tasty and tasteful of cucumber salad and spicy shrimp pig dogs were all?s favorite. Very recommended.

I ate at Din Tai Fung in June 2022 in the university village! We arrived at 5:30 on a Friday night and it was definitely busy! We added our name to the list and searched the nearby shops until we got a text about 30 minutes later; they have a really big system to take up and manage the rush. Once sitting, we ordered a number of different dishes, including the Xiao Long Bao (very tasty, highly recommended), the vegetable beans (the iconic dough lived up to its reputation), spicy Wintons (yum), and sticky rice. The meal was perfect for 4 people and finally about $15 per person with top! I definitely recommend sharing dishes with the table so you can try several things! Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I recommend Din Tai Fung for a great, affordable meal!

Wow wow wow WOW. This place was amazing. Great service, great food and even better atmosphere. If your debating on where to get the best dim sum in Seattle- this is IT. 10/10 would recommend. My husband and I already want to go back.!
