The frites for the steak and frites were perfection (goes great with mayo too), and the steak was flavorful and chewy (medium rare pictured). The onion soup had croutons soaked in their traditional onion soup and it was suuper cheesy. Came with complimentary baguette, and I swear I could eat a whole baguette just with the butter. Great service to top it all off. So glad I got to try this place, now I want to try Le Pichet (same owner) too!
Did a search for great brunch spots in Seattle. This place was located in the Capital Hill district and did not disappoint. The coffee was just ok when compared to all the amazing local coffee shops around town. But the croissant was so delicious and the omelet was a great recommendation from the waiter.
First time having a Croque Madame and I fell in love. Hope my future ones are just a great as this one. Also had a latte and a hot chocolate. Both pretty good! The hot chocolate was very thick might not be for everyone.
We went here for our anniversary dinner on a Sunday, due to sudden change of plans and no reservations available anywhere else. We were lucky to find this place as its so cute and has great vegetarian and meat options for both me(veggie) and hubby. As soon I saw fresh pressed orange juice on the menu, I had to get it and vouch that it is freshest juice you will find in the city. I also enjoyed the vegetarian gnocchi and the potato leek soup.
Cafe Presse is closing next month, and they're just as awesome as they've ever been. Go check em out and send them off with a bang!
