Harumi - Seaside

This was my third of fourth visit. There's a brightness about it with the pale bamboo and lots of windows. I was terribly disappointed in our wait service. It was just off. The couple in the next table left after waiting for their Sapporo. Not good. Soft shell crab appetizer was perfectly cook panko? My Bento box of Maki, tempura combo, salad, rice was good very hot, let it cool off a bit. I will return because I do like the food and atmosphere.

The bento plate is not good. The chicken tasted like it was a precooked frozen meat. They are not diabetic friendly. I wanted to substitute for more Veggies instead of rice (I'm diabetic) in the bento box but they wanted to charge an additional $2.50....seriuosly?

My personal opinion this is the best sushi in Monterey I've tried them all but this is the best thank you

This place is AMAZING......the sushi and food are amazing!!!!! If you don't appreciate AMAZING SUSHI AND FOOD....then just know you failed!!!!!.......the staff takes care of it all...they made me happy, and I'm a picky pretentious BIOTCH!

Love the owners, they treat you like family! That says everything, besides the best sushi ever
