Bidrage med feedbackDO NOT GO HERE. Rude waiters. Did not bring water. And ended up spending 2 hours here waiting for the food that wasn't even good.
Really nothing special. This was our first meal in Watercolor and one that I would not do again. Sushi was average, lacking anything special in the way of flavor or presentation.
Very unique kind of dining here! We were told by the concierge at The Watercolor Inn to arrive by 5:30 to get a table or we might be waiting awhile. This is not your typical restaurant. It is all outdoor seating. Based on the reviews, the paella is a must try but they only make one batch and will only sell that batch for the night. The owner started making it in the huge outdoor pot at 5:30. I was fascinated watching her make it. The end product was really good. I've never had Paella like this...it has a cajun flavor and has a kick to it. You have a choice of seafood paella or lobster paella (which is the seafood with a lobster tail on top). We ordered the lobster. It was so good! One thing to note is that this batch makes enough to make about 50 servings (according to our waiter). We saw people ordering it to go, so if you can't get there early enough, maybe getting it as a takeout order might get you a plate of this deliciousness. While we waited for the paella to cook, we ordered wine and other food from the menu to hold us over. We tried all the dumplings, and the duck dumplings were my absolute favorite! The sushi was really good and I loved the seaweed salad. The Naan was really good too. I would definitely come back!
The paella at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. It was unlike any other paella I've tried before, but the flavors were incredible! We had a great time people-watching and sipping on wine while we waited for our meal. Our server was courteous, prompt, and attentive, even though the restaurant was completely full. As a local, it can be challenging to find a good dining experience, but this restaurant always delivers with delicious food and excellent service!
We originally went to the restaurant for sushi but ended up staying for the Paella! We were pleasantly surprised to find out that Wednesday nights were special at this restaurant, with a lovely lady making authentic Paella. We started with the crunchy munchy roll, which our server described as a delicious mess. The Paella was served promptly at 6:30 and we had the option to add a big lobster tail on top, but we decided to pass since we had already eaten sushi. The Paella was flavorful and slightly spicy, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were so happy we decided to have dinner here. Our server, Amanda, was also amazing.
