Burger is amazing. Big, juicy and its bread is aso very tasty. Onions rings are as good as burgers.

It's been over 20 years since I've been there and is as good as I remember. Good food with decent service. Delicious burgers and be sure To try the onion rings!

This is actually a review for the new Tookies Seafood. Oh, man, this place is such a delight. I was impressed by the beautiful design of both the indoor and outdoor areas (see photos). And I found the food to be very fine. Barry Terrell and his team have done a terrific job here. On the day that we went, I had the opportunity to try the soup and sandwich lunch combo of shrimp gumbo and oyster po-boy while my dining partner had the fried shrimp with fries. We both enjoyed out dishes and I am already looking to return to sample some of the items that I was able to photograph as they were coming out of the kitchen. I also got to sample the chicken bang bang and I really liked it and would order it in the future. Now. In years past, there was pretty much just one destination in this area for grilled oysters. One that everyone knew about. One that was the default. A place that I always hated because they allowed smoking in the restaurant. But I am happy to confirm that I may never need to go there ever again. Having observed the kitchen here at Tookies, I think I can safely give a high recommendation for those, even though I wasn't able to sample any on this trip.

This was my first time eating at Tookies thy just opened 2 months ago great atmosphere and the waiter Russell was very knowledgeable about the many choices! We started with mesquite grilled oysters then shared a shrimp scampi and fried butterflied shrimp all really tasty! Can't wait to go back!
