Cura's - Scranton

The owners are just the warmest, most lovely people I have met since moving back to Scranton. When I saw how clean the restaurant was, I was thrilled, because I figure if people are that attententive to the environment, they are going to make killer food. I was right this time! The food is authentic, not Americanized like taco bell, et al. Servings are large, an order of guacamole was so big I had it with every meal and chips for snack for days. I wanted to order everything on the menu I never tried, but settled on one new thing so I wouldn't starve if I bet wrong: a pupusa with everything was my adventure. I enjoyed, but wished I ordered the one with just the El Salvadoran flower. Cracklings and other ingredients would never allow a rookie like me to differentiate the darn flower. I want to taste the national flower. Gotta go back now! I had steak, chicken and spicy pork tacos. Very good indeed. Spicy pork was my fav, a bit of a surprise to me.Loved the fermented cabbage, so good. I can't wait to try shrimp soup... ! viva Cura's !

I tried this place last night for the first time and will most definitely return. Staff was very friendly and food was outstanding. I ordered the Chicharron pupusa's and Al pastor tacos with a side of fresh guacamole. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. I'm looking forward to trying other menu items soon.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at Cura's today! Their chicken tacos are so good! I highly recommend eating at Cura's Restaurant! Try their homemade waters.

Absolutely one of the best Mexican restaurant's in south side! Please stop in and try them out. I was just there Tuesday, my second time being there. The food was delicious, staff is always kind and curious, and the place is pristine, clean, and welcoming! thank you Cura's!

I stopped in today to grab lunch and was VERY happy with what I brought home! I got the chicken tacos with a side of Pico de Gallo and an order of rice and beans. Best Mexican food in Scranton, hands down!! Everything was fresh from the chicken all the way down to the cilantro!! The people were very friendly and the restaurant is cozy and clean. I will definitely be back!
