The Americano - Scottsdale

Flew in for the weekend to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday. She ordered the steak and I ordered the duck, both were excellent. The staff were very attentive throughout the restaurant, we started at the bar with drinks and then moved to our table for dinner.Highly recommend Americano!!

Service started out great! Ordered drinks, and waited longer than usual for my cocktail. Our kind sever said the bar was swamped. Ordered salads, they came out timely. Caesar salad was delish, except too many homemade breadcrumbs on top. Dinner- almost all of us ordered pastas. The Tagliata bolognese was too dry, a few said, and did not come to the table really hot. One ordered the pasta pomadoro, came to the table with a lid, delicious! I ordered the pasta with Calabrian chili butter, and lobster pieces- very good, but could have come to the table hotter. Too many bread crumbs on top, too. A friend had the veal chop- he loved it!! Came to the table a bit after all of us received our food, however. My husband had the Chilean sea bass. He said it was just ok. Our sever was kind and apologized about the delays in receiving drinks, food, etc. she gave us a few desserts to share, complimentary. Great vibe in the restaurant!

My wife and I frequent this place a lot and we usually sit at the bar. The service is excellent and the food and drinks are on par with the service. Highly recommend!

We absolutely adore The Americano, an Italian Steakhouse run by Chef Scott Conant! The elegant atmosphere, delicious dishes, and creative cocktails create a fantastic dining experience. We are grateful to have such a wonderful restaurant in our neighborhood, and it's always our top choice for hosting out-of-town guests. The Americano has held a special place in our hearts since we first moved to Arizona and remains our favorite spot for a romantic date night. What we love most about The Americano is their diverse menu featuring pasta, steaks, and seafood. Be sure to make a reservation through Opentable as tables fill up quickly, and don't forget they offer complimentary valet parking. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help. The dishes are beautifully presented and the flavors are perfectly balanced. The cocktails and wine selection are also fantastic. Every visit to this restaurant has been a wonderful experience.
