Ajo Al's Mexican Cafe - Scottsdale

Everyone there is amazing, my mother and I often visit and it is always a pleasant experience. The people who work there are really amazing and make every visit great! Very recommended!!!!

Ajo Al is here as long as I remember. While there are better Mexican restaurants, Ajo Al is certainly delicious and the friendly service cannot beat. We come at least a few times a year for large family meetings, and they are always for our group size, which tends to be around 16 people. The design of the restaurant is very warm, welcoming and creative, with glass cowboy hats acts as colorful lampshades over the tables. The menus themselves look like a first year design student went crazy, but not really in a good way. Our group ordered a wide selection of menu items, from a burger to pollo con queso. Everyone was happy with his food and the portion sizes were so generous, most of us had leftovers to bring home. The nachos were delicious, but if you think that you can order an appetizer as a lighter meal option, you are sadly mistaken. It was probably a mountain about six inches high tortilla chips, chicken and cheese. So much cheese. It was very good, but this is definitely better divided between maybe 6 or so people. TL;DR Good food, good service. Come on.

Great answer to a desire for an excellent Mexican fare. Cueso is delicious, served with a perfect red chili, pleasant to the eye. And palette. Beef enchilada superb. Shredded, to perfection, beef taco combined with shredded cheese, red sauce, then the fluffiest rice side together with beans. Who could ask more... oh Margarito. Ask Johnny, his radiation is only dissolved by the smoothness of the flan!

We had a great experience for lunch today. The service and the food were excellent. Make sure you visit them and your favorite restaurants to support them during these crazy times.

GREAT FOOD AND GREAT SKINNY MARGS! I LOVE THE GOOD SERVICE! We had Chicken Fajitas that were served piping Sizzling hot! What a great place for good Mexican food
