Heatherlie House - Scottish Borders

The hosts at this restaurant are fantastic. The food is delicious - we had lasagna and chili chicken on a Friday night and everything was really tasty. The desserts were amazing as well. Sonny and Jocelyn are excellent hosts and go above and beyond for their customers. Make sure to book in advance as they are not open every night. They also offer great accommodations for bed and breakfast.

Lovely home cooked food, good range of drinks and great service. Lovely space too, comfortable, warm and welcoming.

Just arrived back from a few days here. Everything was great. Sonny and his family were so friendly, helpful and caring people. Hotel was lovely decorated, gardens were great with plenty seats and Parasols and Restaurant was superb. Brilliant breakfasts and dinner. Hope to be back soon.

Sonny , the owner, and his father have spent lockdown renovating this lovely hotel to a high standard. Check opening times as they are just expanding them. Great breakfast and economically priced drinks.

We stayed here a couple of nights and were very happy all around. The bed is a dream! Such a good night sleep in quiet leafy surroundings, a spacious room with a fantastic air purifier and a welcoming and generous host. The country house is well Covid proofed and Selkirk town is in walking distance. I can whole heartedly recommend!
