Bidrage med feedbackNear the lake this has good simple German fare and decent cakes.the spinach spatzle was tasty and filling
We sampled quite a few of the delicious beers they had on offer while sat in the sun looking at the great view. They do have an English menu if required which was a great help as not many in the area do.Staff were very pleasant and the pretzels tasty!
There are signs all over Schliersee pointing to this little cafe on the right hand side of the lake, it is one of the few places open all afternoon (a lot of places shut between 2-4pm) It seemed to be run by a qpcute mother/daughter duo and the cakes are all definitely hand made. While no one spoke any English, we figured it out in the end and were not disappointed with the quality of food. They have a decent selection of herbal teas and the potatoe soup was amazing. Definitely worth a visit. She gives you blankets if you want to sit outside in the winter and it is Dog friendly.
So good to sit outside in the sun watching hikers call in to eat before they start their trek.Indifferent service from first woman who tried to have me seated somewhere different until I sat where I preferred. My order was taken by a more friendly person. The meal was nice but very sparse on content so not good value.I was disappointed.Maybe I'd come here for coffee & something sweet.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and fresh. It's always busy and they close early.
