Al Lago - Schliersee

Visited as a family of 5 and were made to feel very welcome. An authentic Italian menu in the heart of Bavaria. A good selection of pasta and pizza (as well as pinsa with wheat, soya and rice flour). Food came in good time and decent beer on Hahn. A reasonable price, too.

We visited once during our one week stay and ordered a take-out twice. The pizza was made and served in a short time, but must say it wasn't a big shake. The pizza was made with excess cheese, also for the Marinara we ordered....Fish was a little hard to come and also seemed like a mechanical way to make a pizza. During sitting we ordered a Bruschetta and that also had an average taste.

I went to Al Lago for lunch a few times and the pizza is quite simply the best I have eaten in years. You’d struggle to find any better in Italy. Staff very kind and such good value for money. Can’t recommend it more.

Visited here twice while on holiday in the area. First was just for drinks, but went back a couple of days later and had a pizza. Pizza was excellent, cooked to order, lovely and fresh, thin and crispy, just what we wanted. Food and drink...prices very reasonable. Overall very good value for money. Staff very efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend

We were eating here. unfortunately had the competition, some houses continued business holiday. here we had eaten our first ice cream - extremely tasty and very friendly. different in al lago. the young man at the ice cream was so unfriendly that I actually wanted to go straight back. but I promised my little son a bad one, I didn't want to disappoint him. the taste of the ice was naja, the fruits in the fruit cup were white.Not recommended.
