The restaurant has roots going back to the early 20th century. In recent years they are known for Big Windy the wind turbine in the rear of their property. The restaurant is almost entirely on green energy.This has been a go-to of ours for years; it started as a special occasion restaurant but the prices are reasonable that we work it in a few times a year. Sandwiches and burgers start at $14, entrées at $16. The Mustard Crusted Bass is excellent and a local favorite. My mother in-law prefers the Ribs.They are also known for their Baked French Onion soup with croutons and melted mozzarella, and Lobster Bisque.
