Wildfire - Schaumburg

We got a chance to go to both Maggiano's and Wildfire for birthdays recently and while the restaurants would seem to be equivalent, they weren't. Maggiano's has stepped it up and Wildfire disappoints. Simply put, we're looking forward to going back to Maggiano's and probably won't go back to Wildfire despite it being an old favorite (specifically Glenview location). Biggest difference was the food Wildfire was bland, and we got the good stuff like the Halibut and Steak. Price was similar but again Wildfire simply isn't acceptable value for money I was even given a compliment that my steaks are better, and they come from Costco and don't cost $50 each. Service was pretty equivalent and birthday was both recognized with complimentary dessert. Goodbye Wildfire, it was nice knowing you.

We went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and it was our first time coming here. We were so disappointed in the selection on the menu and our experience. We ordered Moscow mules to start off and they were awful and the bread that was brought out to start was cold. When we received our meals my steak should have been medium, but was under cooked, chard, and had no flavor to it. His macaroni was cold and the broccoli was so hard that it seemed as thou it was not steamed. We were seated right away and our orders were taken within 15 min of arriving, but our food took over an hour to come out. It was overall just an disappointment and for that price we will not be returning.

Had the best experience here. Went for my parent’s anniversary celebration. We had a private room with a table that could service 10. We had a wonderful server Janet who was absolutely the best!!!! The food was amazing as always!! Thank you!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
