Sweetlips Fish & Chips - Scarborough

I first tried Sweetlips Scarborough a couple of days after they first opened and the queues were out the door. The fish and chips weren't very nice so it's taken me this long to give them another go. Sadly they haven't improved.  Ordered a regular fish and chips which was thin pieces of overly battered fish and way too greasy. The chips couldn't save the meal either - not cooked through properly.  Just think of the calories I saved throwing it away!  They really need to go to the cafe at Perry Lakes Basketball stadium on a Saturday morning and find out how to cook decent chips. On a positive note the shop looks great, is clean and bright and the staff friendly both on the phone and behind the counter.

Very fresh and delicious fish and prawns with light crispy batter everytime. Much much better than Leederville store. Always very busy so ring up to order

Large fish and chips? Wow. I think they dropped some of the chips on the floor... First time trying - never again. ..........................
