Bidrage med feedbackWe stayed in Whitby for 4 nights and ate at this restaurant 3 times during our trip. We found the breakfast to be very nice and fresh, with a good-sized pot of tea and coffee, and perfectly toasted, spotlessly clean bread. The staff was friendly and the sea view was fantastic.
To be honest, they rely too much on their prime location and reputation. However, it's simply not worth it. The filter coffee was decent, but at £2 per cup, it is overpriced. The breakfast took nearly 30 minutes to be served, despite the cafe being less than half full. It was not worth the wait. Low-quality ingredients and high prices. I recommend getting coffee here and enjoying breakfast at a different spot.
The service at this restaurant was poor, despite it not being busy when we arrived. There were three of us, and we ordered three breakfasts. After waiting for half an hour, I asked a young waiter how much longer it would be. He rudely responded that they were busy and it would be another half an hour. When the food finally arrived, he carelessly placed it on the table and walked away. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the woman at the counter, but she showed no interest.
Visited some paintings during the holiday in whitby. large selection of food and drinks. let them enjoy a coffee while the waves crash on the beach. great position. friendly staff.
My partner and I came here for breakfast, we had a sausage bap with coffee and a breakfast stottie with apple juice. We couldn't fault it, the stottie was awesome, very filling and tasty ingredients. We later came back for cake to take home which...was just as good! A lovely little cafe with loads of seating and great views, really friendly service with a smile, we will visit again when we come back to whitby.
