Bidrage med feedbackThis is my favorite Afghan restaurant! If you're hesitant about going, trust me, you should go! In my opinion, it is much better than Bamiyan. My favorite dish is the Herati kebab.
I visited this restaurant with two friends for lunch on New Year's Day. The service was mediocre.
This is my second visit to this restaurant. The first time, I didn't notice much because the crowd and line were shorter.
Kandahar Kabab is a good place to eat. The food was very good but the long line up and wait for the food was too much. They might have to find a way to serve routine items faster.
Kandahar Kababs is an Afghani Restaurant on Markham Road in Scarborough just south of Finch Av E. They have excellent beef and chicken Kababs served with salad, rice and naan on a large platter. We had the Kandahar Kabab (baby veal filet mignon), Herati (chicken) Kabab and Chapli Kababs. All the Kababs were very tasty with the Chapli very spicy. We hear that the lamb chops are also very good. Not a lot of choices for vegetarians when we visited but luckily we were mostly non-veg. Prices are reasonable with large portions for sharing. The rice was aromatic and piled up on the platter. Naans were fresh but difficult to eat without some sort of gravy. All in all, a very enjoyable and affordable meal. You order and pay up front and they call your order
