Ordered the grilled fish from here and it was so disgustingly small for the price! The quality and quantity here gets worse and worse. Save your money and go to Jaspers fish and chips for better food

First time visitor, but long time area resident. The fish and chip restaurant near us had closed a while back and we were looking for a new place. We had tried a couple in our area but Halibut House will be our new go-to fish and chip restaurant! Wewere immediately greeted when we entered and had our take out ready in about 7 minutes. Well kept inside and very clean. Brightinterior with an attractive decor. Halibut was a generous portion and cooked perfectly with plenty of chips that were supertasty!! Thank you for the great service and delicious food! You have a couple of new fans of your establishment. We?lldefinitely return.

The fish chips at this location is terrible. The fish portion is small, squared, greasy and flavourless. I asked a question about substituting the fries with a salad and was rudely told to check the menu. The Danforth Avenue location is much better. The Kingston Road location is closer to where I reside but I rather drive farther to the Danforth Avenue location. The Danforth Avenue location fish chips (and salad) have great tasting larger portions and friendlier service.

I wish I could have given half a star, we picked up two orders of halibut fish and chips with a side of coleslaw, I will never go to that location again, the fish was dry and the fries were mushy and greasy, the coleslaw was tasteless much like eating plain raw cabbage, the worst meal I’ve ever had, I don’t recommend it. The two meals cost over $50

I know everything’s changing, but i just had halibut house at the end of january. ordered two halibut and chips and a kid’s halibut and chips. i had a couple friends visiting. they were impressed with the portions. i was satisfied, too, but i did notice a difference in the fish portion compared to what i had previously received.
