Chick-N-Joy Restaurant - Scarborough

I found out about this fried chicken restaurant from my sister who lives in Scarborough. When we went to visit her, we decided to order from this restaurant instead of going to Jollibee. We ordered the family package of 8 pieces of chicken which came with a choice of 3 sides, and we chose French fries, coleslaw, and macaroni salad. One thing I enjoyed about their chicken was that it was more tender compared to Jollibee's chicken. Additionally, the 3 side dishes were included for free with the meal.

I ordered the chicken fillet sandwich and the portion size was quite generous. The roll and toppings were good. The chicken was grilled nicely and juicy. There was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. The service was friendly.

The Monday and Tuesday special at this restaurant is tasty and worth the price. The menu offers delicious options that are a great value. I would definitely consider returning for another special meal.

Really enjoyed the chicken, especially Monday and Tuesday, their zunie Tuesday deal day. Lightly less fat than Popeyes and super delicious. I recommend the two dark flesh very juicy!

Clean and busy take-out restaurant with small counter and stools for those who can't wait to get home to enjoy their meal. Filipino style breaded, crispy fried chicken served with either fresh cut french fries or potato wedges, a side of gravy and a mouthwatering...buttermilk biscuit served to mostly obese regulars. You will gain weight with every bite. Forget commercially processed fast food chains and drive to Chick-N-Joy. Nowhere near Toronto's city centre but worth the drive, especially if you are on your way to or from the zoo.
