Martha's Kitchen - Saxis

Like visiting your grandmother and having her cook up something wonderful for you! A drive over to Martha's is well worth the ride, call first to see that she is open. I had the soft crab sandwich and my wife had the crab cake. The crab cake was good but the soft crab stole the show. It consisted of at least 6 medium to hotel sized crabs wet battered and deep fried. I thought it like soft crab popcorn. It was very good. Martha was great to talk to and we had a great time. You need to try this if your in the area. A nice easy drive from Chincoteague.

If you want really good breakfast this is it. The soft crab platter is also awesome. The soft crab, egg and cheese sandwich is heavenly. It is a little out of the way but well worth it. Right on the water. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10
