Bidrage med feedbackDelightful Alsace/German atmosphere. Huge portions. Second visit we had a wonderful acorn squash soup and then split a veal and mushroom entree with fries and mixed vegetables. The wine was excellent. Reservations strongly suggested, especially Saturday evening.
Recommended this restaurant by a local couple and were not disappointed. Very good service and great food We both had the Steak and it was cooked perfectly very tender and tasty.
As we were staying in the hotel, we dined twice here in the cosy restaurant. A main course and a dessert seemed to be better value than the fixed-price menus. The portions were generous and well-presented. The meat dishes we chose were good. The contents were kindly changed to reflect our intolerance to dairy products
Service is friendly, the wines by the glass or liter are respectable, and the menu options (versus a la carte) weren't bad. The atmosphere is ok. The main room doesn't have a lot going for it in the atmosphere department and the tables seem a little cramped. Lots of traditional, local dishes available. Everything was solid, but nothing was exceptional. The salmon w/ horseradish and toast was fine, the palate cleanser was quite good, and the scallops on a sort of pasta were decent. Desserts all seemed good, and my sorbet w/ a shot of brandy on top was excellent. I thought the prices were slightly high for what I got, but all in all it is a solid place and I would return.
Hotel douillet well located between the station and the city center, with a very well-kept table.
